Training to Embed Risk Management

QRMC provides training in risk management to all levels within an organisation, to guide personnel through the risk management process and instil in all staff the need for, and benefits of, a sound risk management approach.

During training sessions, participants are provided with materials on the principles of risk management, and the application of these to their organisation, that will enable them to apply what they have learned in their individual workplaces. Training is tailored to the organisation via the emphasis given to particular parts of the risk management process, and organisation-specific examples and case studies, so that the information covered can be understood within the context of familiar workplace settings.

Experiential learning, or learning through action, is embraced in QRMC’s approach to training via the use of workplace-specific case studies and examples which allow participants to apply the principles to a practical situation which relates to their day-to-day activities.
